UPDATE: Hi Cuties, well it's 10.30 Sunday night as I write this and I've just finished setting the tables and they look great.

This year I've chosen Red, Silver and White.

I've made the Gingerbread men Christmas 2018, (that Kim digitised for me) a beautiful white FSL, a Santa FSL, a cosmetic case with a smaller one which you could fit your mobile phone in, a hand towel for the bathroom and the two fridge door wrappers. I know Sue and Meg don't have a door handle on their fridge, but you can use them as seat belt wrappers or even for shopping trolleys.

Everyone is bringing a salad and as a treat Trevor has bought us some beautiful prawns. He told me he'd get up early and shell them for us.

Now I'll have to go and get some seafood sauce when I get the hot chook in the morning! Wish me luck with a nice cool day! ha ha! Not likely. Love Chris

1. Table view looking from the computer end of the room towards the sewing wardrobe.
2. Table view from from wardrobe end of room.
3. My treasured Porcelain Santa who is my favourite piece of all time.
4. I forgot the most important thing - I've just put the glasses on the table with the Napkins that started my theme. I bought these at Kath Wohlfahrt's shop in Rudesheim when we went to Europe for our White Christmas last year and kept them for this Christmas!

Forgot to say I've got a real Gingerbread house made by my local baker. I also painted the Santa on the left hand side back when Stasia, Kaye and I did folk art painting. Love Chris

Thanks so much Suzanna, I'm so pleased with everything. Now I've got to get to sleep knowing that I've still got a lot to do in the morning. I'm hoping it's not going to be too hot, just don't like it! Love Chris

I know what you mean, I can't stand the heat either! Come live with me - it was -8C last night. We got to a balmy -1.6 by midday.

Thanks Betsey, well I'm sure they will enjoy the day. It's such a pity that it's going to be so hot. As I've said I've got the air conditioners on the ready and waiting just in case. I've got to remember the older ladies though like my Mum and Kaye they get cold. I love the cold! Love Chris

God bless you Meg, and thank you so much for the beautiful Frangipani (my favourite flower) hand towels you did. They will take pride of place in my new bathroom.
I know how sick you have been this year and they mean more to me than you know.
I'll definitely let you know what Trev thinks of the red wine once he quaffs it! Love you gal, love Chris

Thanks Chris, we all did.
I've just realised the picture of all of us is upside down when you look at it, but it corrects to the the right way up once you click on it. Appropriate don't you think as we always call Australia "down-under"? Love Ch

Yes you absolutely can. I always wondered what the moon looks like from your place. and where in the sky it is. I also would love to see the cross, I forget what it is called.

Chris, I just love to see happy people and all of you are beautiful! Your mum does not age. She looks splendid with her christmas bells on, too!
I had written you a long post before these last pics, about how nice everything looked, but then got an 'error inquiry' or something and lost my comment to 'space'. Oh well...
Anyway, you are the perfect hostess and everything is as beautiful as always. I know everyone loved their fellowship, presents and food. Merry Christmas to all!

You know what I do now, I copy my replies and that way if I hit SUBMIT and that error inquiry shows up - I've still got my message on the copy he he he! I've done that a few times in the past myself. Thanks for your lovely comments. Yes, Mum's going well and will be 85 in January 2019. She's feeling pretty good except for sore feet. She's been given orthotics, but will she wear them!!!!!!!!!!!! She says they hurt and I've told her of course they are going to hurt as her bones in her feet have to be realigned!!! She says she's prepared to put up with the pain as long as she can wear pretty shoes. I give up, I wear shoes with a slight heel, but whenever possible wear none! Love Chris

Ha ha-I almost commented on your bare feet. They (friends) call Ashley the 'Barefoot Fiddler' as she likes to shun those shoes!-lol

Hi Laura, Meg made a super effort to be there. She had trouble making my beautiful towels with my favourite flowers - Frangipani's on them. Her machine was not playing nicely!! Anyway she came, and had a great time. Thankfully Meg only lives about a 40 minute drive from my place. I worry about Sue having to drive 2 hours each way, but she says she doesn't mind. Love Chris
