Marcello is back to hand engraving and I had to learn making borders at last. Try to convert him on embroidery but did not last!. Miss him, I used to do engraving with him but I finished long time ago. Now embroidery is my hobby.

Fantastic doilies! Not only is the stitching perfect, but the borders are amazing! I especially admire the top one with the green over the gold. Don't know That I've seen that techinque before. And doing an irregular one like the bottom photo looks difficult to make and have it stitch out so perfectly! Nicely done!
