This is a darling jumper! The kitty is just perfect on it. I'm sure she'll love wearing it. My grandmother crocheted me a dress when I was a toddler. I loved that dress and wore it all the time. Every year she'd add on some length until I just got too big. I'm 71 yo and I still remember that dress and grandma. So, you just never know how what you give to your grandchildren that may impact them.

Oh, what a lovely memory! Thanks for sharing it! I had kept a dress I had made my daughter (hand smocked, no less!) and gave it to my daughter when her first daughter was born. All three of my granddaughters have worn that dress now.

Hi Deb, I love that small pinwhale fabric, always nicer on a cool day. I also love the floral fabric you've used for the lining. Your little one will look adorable in this, good choice for the brolly too! You need something like for a child living in England. Love Chris

That fabric is soooo soft, perfect for a 9 month old baby. I've been using some of my quilting fabric stash as facings in the dresses I make the girls after seeing the idea in a expensive children's clothing store. Yep, she will become very familiar with a brolly as she grows up!
