What embroidery websites are closing year ending 2018 or the first part of 2019? I know there are a few.

We've lost so many great digitizers over the years. We all love freebies, but should also remember to support these folks with a membership or at least a purchase now and then. Freebies aren't free.

The new SSL certificate (https) makes running a website even more expensive. I've seen some certificates offered at "only" $200 a year for basic websites. I have no idea what busy embroidery sites will have to pay. Just paying (every single year) for the website itself can be very costly! Now, they have to add an annual SSL certificate fee. I fear many will have to close.

The past few days I haven't been able to access My Garden Embroidery Designs as it seems that here are errors made by the owner (?) and Firefox didn't open the website.

Buggalena. But she may change her mind if possible. But very good sale at her site right now.

Sadly, she offers several designs that violate copyright/licensing laws. I do wish more websites would follow the laws. It would make everything easier for all Cuties.
