It is so true that we are friends. I have met a few of my internet embroidery family and it is like we have known each other for years. I appreciate all of you and wish you and yours a Healthy and Happy Christmas.

I am thankful for you too and all the other Cuties that have supported and encouraged me whether it be emb related or personal. It is hard to believe but this is Averys second Chistmas play and parties at her new school. She is home with us over the holidays but like her mom and me, we are all sick with colds/ sinus.
I can't seem to be able to beat this- I felt so bad yesterday to buy groceries, didn't sleep last night cause head/ nose stopped up but went to church this morning to see the children reenact the Holy Birth. It doesn't matter how many times I see, I still shed a tear or two.
I have baked pecan pies, Mississippi Mud pie but have to make candies. I bake the day before Christmas Eve , cook sides Christmas Eve because Christmas Day I cook all the meats. I just can't get it all done the day of.
My sister may not make it back this year. This will be the first time she has missed in years. My nephew is supposed to bring my middle sister but after Christmas Day -She doesn't do well in a crowd but I haven't seen her in over a year....
All my kids and grands but one should be here Christmas Day so should be over 20. Then others will come in and sometimes stay for the evening meal. It's always plenty. The Lord is good and provides. I love having them all here.
When our mom was alive we all cooked at our own home and loaded everything to bring to Mom's. She was in a wheelchair and it was easier for us girls to fix and bring. We all loved gathering there even though her house was small, we found room. Now they come to mine and even though I feel bad this year, it's no place like coming home.

A Merry Christmas to you and yours Chris. Tonight is Sunday night here in the states. Tomorrow will be Christmas eve for us. Like Toogie a good many of my family are ill with this crud that is going around but still we have been partying at church, having Christmas plays at church and schools cooking, baking etc. Even managed a few trips in there. I went to Georgia to help a Great Grand celebrate her 9th birthday. I wish and pray for a wonderful Christmas for you and your family. Love you!

Thank you Chris for such wonderful thoughtful words. I enjoy so much reading all the posts, seeing family pictures and the projects created here are the best. I never lack for inspiration. I seldom post but always read and give flowers. I love this site and feel like part of something that is worldwide. It is amazing the strength we get from each other when we are in need. When I see the loss of my husband the most I know I am not alone. I go back and read posts again and it helps my heart. This site has given me hope when I thought there was none. You have prayed for me and the prayers were answered for my grandson to be healthy. I cannot thank you all enough for the strength and support I have received and has been given to all cuties. Dear Chris...I, too, would like to thank all Cuties for their support and inspiration...it has been a wonderful gift to me this year as it has been in past years. I never thought that some of my closest friends would be half a world apart. Miss Veronika has provided us this most cherished platform to be able to have a world-wide community of love and friendship. I cherish all of the friends that I have met and come to know because of this most wonderful place. Merry Christmas to everyone here from down under! I hope, Chris, you will be blessed by the services at your church. Now, you're making me panic. I have one gift (important, too) to stitch tomorrow, and then wrapping and cooky baking. I'm not up to standing on this knee for long, so having a simplified menu of grilled steaks (outside, hopefully), baked potatoes, a veggie or 2, and Christmas desserts. Joy to all!

Unlike all the others, I am not very good with words. It made my heart feel good to read from others that they also love the friendships that happen here and all the gifts, advise, prayers we are allowed to share. I wish I had more time to be able to leave comments on every post, I can't,, but everyone gets flowers.
I just want to add my wishes for everyone to have a joyous Christmas.
