The only thing my mom had asked for for Christmas was a new apron. So I made her one for Christmas in her favorite color of blue.

Thank you. Mom also requested 2 pockets on the front. The blue has a fleck of the red in the fabric color so I decided to use that as my additional color.

Love the apron. I grew up with all the women wearing aprons and I still make a wear them.. I remember my Grand mother always purchased an extra half yard of fabric so she could make a matching apron for each House dress she made. Those were precious days.

I wear a bib apron when doing cookies and lots of "group" cooking. Mom loves to wear the half aprons, I just need to make time to make more.
