This was a very expensive piece of quilted upholstery, sorta of silk like when the light of the lamp in turned on then the needle holes like some heirloom sewing shows up, I bought the trim and made the pattern to fit my old worn out lampshade.

it is quilted with very small quilting design. with the light on the small holes from the design show through.
