The next generation of sewers. Just before last Christmas I discovered that the young lad next door (age 12) had received a sewing machine as his main present in 2017 and yesterday by chance discovered that the 8 year old daughter a few houses away received a sewing machine last Christmas. I think that its brilliant that there are young ones interested in sewing and that their parents are encouraging them by getting machines for them. My eldest grandchild is 8 and he enjoys using my embroidery machine and soon I will start sewing with the grand daughters when I am staying with them. Both the youngsters locally have been offered that if they want to come and learn something with their machines that they are not sure about I will try and show them. (One has been given replacement machine needles as mum broke the existing one)
