It is easy. just open seams . Put the stabilizer in your frame and on my mashine I can mark how bi the embroidery Will be and were it is going to be sawn. So I sew that on the stabilizer and then with gluespray i put my fabric in right place

Never ever thought of placing a baste mark or otherwise on the stabilizer while in the hoop to mark a placement line for this on jeans or anything else except for what digitizers put on ITH fabric placement. Great Idea and I am going to try to remember this tip. It's great!

Did you remove the pocket or sew it shut with the design?

Yes I removed it. And sawn it back with normal thread, but made it twice. That tip i learned from a lady who saws a lot and she learned from her mother who was profesional. my mashine don`t like to saw with thick thread som making to rowes always turnes out good
