Hey Ya'll. Most of you know I'm from the south. I thought you'd get a kick out of this. The current weather is 50° which is 10C. It is raining. It is supposed to get down to 32° (0C) at 9AM in the morning. My city, county and the 5 surrounding counties have called off school tomorrow, all local government offices are closed, all of the banks are closing. We are so pitiful this one day of Winter. There is not a loaf of bread or ounce of milk on the shelves. WE ARE GOING TO FREEZE TO DEATH IF WE DON'T STARVE FIRST. Please send help.

I'd love to move further south, but I I have to (want to) stay near my family.
It's really not so bad here. We have real winter every few years for just a couple of weeks.
Snow has caused the closure of some schools in my bit of the UK today and will probably do so again tomorrow. Hope you don't starve as its a long way for me to come with a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk. Hope the kids get some snow to enjoy on their day off. And...keep us posted with your predicament
I understand that they have to cancel schools in a timely manner to give working parents a chance to find suitable arrangements for child care. I'm mostly just having a good laugh at our snowpocalypse.
Thank you
