Good morning Cuties! I am off to my QOV meeting and wanted to show you my very first top, before I turn it in. I stripped and pieced this panel. Not easy as it looks, because the pattern we had for the panel, was for a different size panel, so I had to re-figure everything. Tell me if you spot my mis-figure. It now goes to someone who will machine quilt it and back to me for binding and adding info label.

There are several members that have long arms willing to quilt for QOV. Thanks!

I had to take a deeper seam on the middle 4 blocks, at the top and bottom, to make it even at the corners. I thought I had made my borders to fit the stripe half star triangles and they did on the sides, but not top or bottom. Thanks for looking!

Well as the Amish say nothing can be perfect except for God. The only thing I can see Toogie, is the lower border is about half an inch out on the bottom, but that's me being really picky! It looks fabulous, you've done such a wonderful job. Love Chr

Well, I must be Amish as it, and I, am far from perfect. I think the fabric may not be smoothed out, or may be the way it looks in the pic, because border edges are even. Look below at my explanation in dailylaundry's comment.

I would never have picked that, so you've done an awesome job in fixing the seams. Well done you. Love Chris

I would never have known. I love it. It does look like the old airmail envelopes of yesterday I remember them quite well.. Seems the older I get the more I love the older things. Great, great job my dear.
