2019-03-07 Hi Cuties, here are the firtst quilts I have ever made in my life. Quilting has never been my cup of tea. But now that there are precuts I could overcome my aversion to cut up a new fabric into strips and scraps instead doing something "useful" with it. I allways wondered what all that fuzz was about quilting. A big THANK YOU and a hug goes to Jenny Doan from MSQC. I discovered her tutorials many years ago, it must have been right from the beginning and loved watching them. So I learned a lot about quilting from her, she broadened my horizon

The 2nd one is for me, the first one is a gift for my doughter`s MIL. She loves deers. The designs are "Darling Deers", From The Needles of Anne. I stitched them out on 5" squares, the stabilizer is my HB worn out buisness shirt. The jelly roll is from Fabric Freedom "Vintage Christmas-Snowmen", arrived on New Years Eve. After sewing the strips I got flattened by a virus for two weeks. I made two small quilts for my sofa seat in February and just finished the top for a Rail Fence quilt for my doughter. After one year of crocheting, mending stuff, sewing rally is a treat. It`s relaxing and exciting at the same time.
