Keeping spools tidy..
Some of my spools of thread just keep coming undone. I have thread nets but I like to see the colours at a glance so this is what I do for my thread spools..
1) Cut a pair of tights into 1" strips and
2) clear vinyl strips that are made from cutting up the bag sheets come in when you buy them.

Great ideas. Years ago I bought some tape that stretches and adheres to it's self. My problem is storing the bobbin with the spool of thread. thanks for your ideas. Suzanna

I use purple wonder tape that adheres to itself, but I love your strips of tights - I am very good at ruining those so I'll have recycling material at a regular basis. :)

this is a good idea, I want to know how when I go to use one it is sort of wrapped over its self, have to pull some off and undo a just a single knot its a mystery,,,wendy
