Hi guys, we’ve been up at our friends place in the Hunter Valley these past few days. The weather has been amazing. We did some wine tasting - well I didn’t as I was the designated driver! Dropped into a cheese factory for some beautiful blue cheese and went to late lunch at 3,00. By the time we got back to Mont Valley we were full so we just had some crackers and cheese and salad about 8.00. Home now and doing the washing etc. and doing some sewing repairs for Amy and making school scrunchies for Ophelie and Delphi’s hair. Life is good. Love Chris ❤️👵🏻🤗

It's so great as a sauce too with chicken! Our son often makes a beaut dish with it and cream. Yummy, love Chris

Lucky you Chris, the Hunter Valley is beautiful so I'm sure you had a lovely time even if you didn't get to enjoy the multitude of vineyards.

Hi Lynne, yes the Hunter is fabulous for its wine tasting. I find just visiting 3 or 4 is enough though. I'm not a big drinker, so it's more a social outing. Love Chris

nice and green Chris, just a bit envious. Hope we get some live-giving rain soon, as it's brown as far as the eye can see [ but we drive to the beach for some blue and white relief]

Yes, we've had welcome rain over the past couple of weeks, but we're still in drought mode. The dams at John and Deirdre's place are the lowest we've ever seen in the 17 years we've been going there. Love Chris
