Done some more stash reducing.

* Started with a green sweater for the older brother of the boy that got the first green one - by machine except for the ribbing.
* Then I knitted the yellow one. I used a Drops design pattern, but instead of colour work I used an purl stitch - knitted by hand during my Hurtigruten trip in February.
* Then I knitted the red one - same pattern - now in colour. Did the yoke and ribbing by hand, rest was done on the knitting machine.
* Did a quicky, a hat, by hand. And a yellow one by machine, which meant a seam at the back, which I don't like; but it was a 20 min job, which was a bonus.
* After that it was time to finish the C2C crochet blanket.
* And last week did the short sleeved sweater, a slub cotton and acrylic mix. Also a Drops design, named Lucky Ducky; and like the other one I had to recalculate for the yarn I used.

What a talent you have! I adore the "Made with Love" charm on the hat. The afghan is so very pretty and my favorite sweater is the red with yellow.

Thank you. I like the charm as well. I intend to attach one to every item I donate.

A great achievement. I find it interesting that and your both hand and machine knitting on the same garment.

It's a bit tricky to get the same gauge, but it goes so much faster...

You have been very busy. I love ALL the creations. Glad you are enjoying your knitting machine again. Makes stash reduction a lot faster.
I just gave my fine gauge machine away. Still hanging on to the bulky. I just enjoy hand knitting so much more.

I have the "normal" machine, neither fine nor bulky, just right for the yarn that needs 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm needles. I enjoy hand knitting, but giving my age and the size of my stash I find the machine comes in handy.
I still have to try out the ribber, but for now I am quite happy to have the k2 p2 to do by hand. Machine is to noisy to use when watching TV (or rather when my husband is).

I love all these Martine. I have always been a slow knitter(crochet much faster) but so much arthritis in my hands these days difficult and painful to do much needlework. I keep plodding along slowly though.

At least you keep plodding! I can't knit a stitch.

I am sorry arthritis causes so much trouble! I am glad you are still able to do so much sewing - although that might be painful too.

Beautiful work. I have stopped all knitting and sewing. Too many problems to concentrate.

I am sorry to hear that. Knitting works like meditation for me - so repetitive and almost brainless.
