Please pray and keep our family friend Dawn and her baby in your prayers and thoughts. Dawn waited many years to have her beloved baby. Baby was conceived by some sort of artificial insemination. Baby is now 7 months old. Doctors have diagnosed baby with Canavan Disease. This is devastating news and I can not get it out of my mind. Thank you Cuties for being there once again for me and friends. Hugs to all, Suzanna

Suzanna....so very sorry to read this.....I myself went through artificial insemination in my 20's but due to endometriosis I was unable to conceive, so I can understand your daughter 's pain.....I will pray for her and the baby plus your whole family to stay strong together...

I could find nothing on Caravan Disease. Is that a typo for Canavan Disease? If so, this is so tragic. After so much heartbreak and effort to get pregnant to have this awful disease is hardly bearable. Prayers that a treatment or better yet a cure can be found. Prayers for strength for the family to get through this terrible situation. Prayers for you too and all those who care for this family.

Yes typo. At this point no cure, there is some experimental treatment. Than you for the prayers.

Suzanna, what a devastating diagnosis for this family. Lots of prayers will be coming their way. I have read that kids who have mild involvement can actually live fulfilling lives. Please give the family our love.

Sending lots of prayers to whole family.
I also did not know this disease and had to look it up on the internet.
I read that parents are ‘carriers’ of this, is that correct ? I do hope that the baby will have a mild level. Can they already check that ?
Send all my love to all of you.

Thank you. That's what the internet says, parents are carriers. I do not know if they have a test for checking carriers,
