Have been a bit depressed since losing Tuxie...but am getting back in the swing of things this week.....wanted to let you know I got the most moving card from the doc that helped Tuxie cross over and they also donated a tree for Tuxie, so she will be close to her brother Charlie, (maybe).....one day I will get to see these in person! Love to all!

Well, glad you are getting back to your routine...How lovely that the doctor who helped Tuxie sent you a card and planted a tree in remembrance of Tuxie... I have no doubt that we will all be united one day with our loved ones...

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing our family members is one of the hardest and saddest things in life that we deal with. She will still be with you in your heart and memories. I think that only people who have loved a pet truly understand the full extent of one's grief. Some things we just have to live through. All my sympathy, Penny

I think that the gift from your Vet was really special Vicki. I remember when Mum's dog Miss Sophie died, her Vet sent a card and some flowers. It's the caring nature of our Veterinarians that makes them so special.
What wonderful memories you have of Tuxie - nearly 23 years is an amazingly long life for a cat. Love Chris

Thank you, Chris and it sure does help when our vets appreciate how special our animals are to us........

My in-laws had a poodle for many years and she got hairbows and toenail polish and a bath every week at the vet, plus shots and regular stuff, too. When the poodle died, the vet sent two dozen long stemmed red roses over to the house!

Oh Sweetie it just breaks your heart into a thousand pieces, especially when they have been part of your life for so very long, longer even than we have our kids at home. It was a fitting tribute from your vet and acknowledgement to you and your loving, caring, heart.
All we want is just one more cuddle, one more playtime, one more leg rub.
I believe in the Rainbow Bridge, I have to, because it gives me hope when the pain and grief overtakes me, still, for those special fur babies that have left without me.
Sending huge cyber hugs and a ton of love, M

Special hugs for you today... I feel you pain... It s so hard o lose our fur babies no matter how old or young. These babies are part of our hearts and our lives. It will take a while to stop hurting . Give yourself some time to grieve. Tuxie was part of your life for a long time.
So nice to get such a wonderful card from the vet and the tree to go along with Charlie's tree... Now the trees will grow up together just like the two of them. Hugs to you. You are a special person! Suzanne

You take comfort in knowing that each and every cat you have loved has loved you back. You go ahead and grieve. It's a tribute to Tuxie and Graycie, everyone of the special cats you have loved and the love you still share. You and Jim are such special people. Just keep on loving and stitching and digitizing and giving these cats the best home ever.
