I made one of Sue's smockfrocks today and I am enthralled! So easy to pleat and smock. The hardest part--trying to decide if the back shoulder parts go over the front or if it is front over back. This isn't hemmed yet, but look how pretty Sue's smocking looks on seersucker!

Thank you. It really is a quick and easy project. I would have been faster but I kept stopping and taking pictures of it and sending to my daughters!

No, not by hand; this is an In The Hoop design with a little bit of sewing (like the hem).
The only sewing machine usage is the side seams and the hem. So much fun to sew.

Thank you. Today, I convinced Riley to try it on, just so I could take a photo. At first I thought it was too short, but the longer I look at it, the more I like the length. Riley just turned three, and she is such a tall girl. This is the large size smockfrock.
