The top one I showed some time ago. I liked the pattern and knitted two more. The bottom one is made from leftovers from a sweater I knitted for one of my daughters back in 1985 (!).

So do I. And that's one reason I don't like steeks -first thing I think of is the short ends you end up with when you unravel.
And I helped my gran so often to unravel sweaters - and how I admired the resulting 'new' garment.
