Hello Cuties, between babysitting days and week end weddings, I managed to get these 3 tops pieced. The panels took up a good space but the lady that passed them on to me didn't know what to do with them. I hope she likes what I came up with, but more importantly, I hope the Vets they go to like them.

1st & 2nd photo-I used every little bit of the brown Gettysburg fabric in the border and corners. It left a really wide blue border but I had no other fabric.
3rd photo-She gave me 3 panels just alike to do something with-here is the first one I have done.
4th & 5th photo-Another of my Buzz Cut tops. This is the first time I used the same pattern. (On top a queen bed.) This makes my 8th top for QOV since joining in February. I need to make some for myself but then with the 4th of July coming up and then my trip, I may not do any.-lol
Hope you enjoy looking and have a good night/day where ever you may be-Toogie

I thought you were strangely quiet. Now that explains it. You have been very busy sewing for QOV. That makes it 2 quilts a month. Ha, ha I can add. They must be so happy they found you. Your work is awesome and you always make something great with what is given to you. Thank you for caring about the Veterans

Since you like the middle one, do you have any ideas for the other two I need to make? The blue with stars and the red with stars were strips just enough to frame up the panel. The panel is just inside the small navy blue frame. Thanks for looking and commenting!

Great job, Toogie...I love the panels and they sure make quick work in making a quilt!

It takes me longer to figure how just 'what' I will do with each panel than it does to actually sew them up. Sometimes I just frame up and then it sorta evolves as I go, as in the top one. Thanks for looking!

Toogie, please don't even wonder if any one of your quilts will be loved by a Vet. As a dependent of an AF chaplain, I can assure you, any Vet that receives one of your quilts will be overwhelmed. It is very obvious that each one of your quilts is stuffed and stitched with as much love as you can put into it. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this for the Vets.

We can never do enough to thank these men & women who serve, so save your thanks for them. I love sewing and love sewing for them. It's my pleasure to be able to do anything I can for them. They are so deserving and appreciated.

Well done Toogie, they will be cherished. Glad you are keeping busy! I'd bring in red and blue borders for the stars one (number 3) and another red border similar in width to the Eagle quilt and maybe incorporate some star designs. Love Chris

Thanks Carolyn. I wish I would have had more brown Gettysburg fabric to make more stars where the wide blue border is..
