I also have some of these and was told that they are called Fairy Lilies. They are wonderfully hardy and grew in my yard in WV and have been equally happy here in Texas.

Get some Sedum Autumn Joy or get rosemary. Both seem to take care of themselves here in garden Zone 7.

Don't tell me about Rosemary. We have a bush that is soooo.. big. It is going to dug out next week. Would have been alright if it had been in the back yard but it is in the front an has just got out of control.

If it blooms a day or so after rain, it is also called a rain lily. So graceful and sweet.

Yes they love water.

I have some white rain lilies, and assumed they were related. I wonder what their botanical names are. I might just have to look that up.

I love surprises and this is a very pretty one. 2 month ago i started to water a pot that had some little green showing. I was rather surprised to see the result. I think it had been 2 years since I had bought this amaryllis for Christmas and had forgotten it. Now it showed up in May.

Such a sweet surprise for you! I have found lilies to be very easy to grow, divide, and share the colorful joy with others.
