Over the years I have downloaded many lamp shade designs because I love them but I have never stitched one out because I don't need them. Recently I thought "what if I can use one of these designs to create a doily?" and this is what I have done.

That's called "thinking outside the box!" Gorgeous stitchout! I don't recall ever seeing a lamp shade design. I'll have to keep my eyes opened for one.

Ls-Liane-Stitch has a new one every month. I do not think they are called lampshades. Mostly covered under the name "tealights".
Thank you for your help, Angie. The website is written in German and I didn't remember what this type of design is called in English. They call it a Windlicht or Windlichter and they offer a new one, free of charge, every month.Thanks for your comment, Penny.
