Today has been sad for me. It's the second anniversary of my Ron's death(my beloved husband) I know where he is, He told me and several others the day before he was gone" I'm going to see Jesus". The tears still flow, the heart ache and loneliness is still here. I finally broke down and gave away two bags of all his golf clubs and golfing paraphernalia last week. The gentleman and his wife told me at church today he won in his golf tournament this past week using the clubs. This made me glad. on another note . Going under the knife again. My Sciatic nerve on the right is pinched off by bone and arthritis formation in my back. Pain has been bad, unable to lie down for more than 2 months, been sleeping sitting up. Goes all the way down to my foot and is making walking or anything else difficult. They are going to cut away the bone from the nerve. Maybe then I'll be able to get around better. After that will get something done about right hand. Arthritis again, not able to use it well anymore. God is good to me when I can will take picture of the dresses I'm making for the Christmas boxes I'm still pugging along and not idle. Surgery is Wednesday the 7th and will be in hosp a couple of days so keep me in your prayers. Love to you all

dear miss Lillian, you are in my prayers, sorry to read you have such a sad day, Ron will always have that special place in your heart and yes there are days we miss our loved ones even more as usual. It must have been a comfort that you was able to make someone happy with the golf attributes. I hope and pray, surgery will make you feel better and reduces the pain. Dear friend, there are a lot of friends here who think of you and pray for you. Hang in there, and lots of love and hugs for you.

Hi Lillian! Will be praying for your surgery and good recovery. It's all baby steps, right? Did you remember to make your thankful list on the anniversary of Ron's passing? I never met him but I'm thankful for the years you two had together and the lovely family you grew and that he was a churchman and leader and lead the creation of your church. Awesome, really awesome, and you were a great match for him. Love you, darling.

Such beautiful memories of your beloved Ron and I'm so glad that gentleman who received Ron's golf clubs did well with them.
I'm so sorry to read about your pain too. Mum had that sciatic pain and I know what you are going through. Hopefully the surgery will ease your pain and I pray that you have a great recovery. Glad to read that you are still doing some sewing too. Love Chris

I am asking God to remind me of you all day on the 7 and after so that I can stop and ask for healing, health, freedom from pain and the ability to go do the things you love.
I'm so sorry that your heart is sad. I read the sweetest thing and please forgive my poor memory as I can't tell you where it came from, but it went something like: "I'm praying for Jesus to hug you so tightly that all of the broken pieces stick back together. "

Dearest Lillian, I pray your surgery went well and you are on your way to sleeping horizontal again. I have that darn bursis thing and can relate. We never get over the loss of loved ones. Time can take the edge off a bit. Best wishes to you.

I spoke to Mrs Lillian today and she will give an update as soon as she can. We were having a bad phone connection so a lot of things were bits and pieces. She is home from the hospital, though. I'll let her fill you in but know she loves us all. Such a dear sweet lady.
