Last week we were invited to meet our second son's girlfriend's (Kailey - who is a wonderful girl) family. They invited us to join them for a boat ride out in Lake Michigan. They have an incredible 48 foot boat - we had a wonderful time. I wanted to make them something for the visit. I decided to embroider 4 small hand towels with the name of their boat. Oh, they made such a fuss about how wonderful the towels were. Truly, it was an easy stitch out and not a big deal! Here is a picture of one of them. Thanks for looking! Hugs to all, Laura

I think it was the thought that made them so happy. Bet they have given rides to so many and been taken for granted. Besides that the Towel looks great especially the rope detail.

You are probably right! Our two youngest are twins. Both are very serious about their girlfriends and both girls are friends with each other. All four love camping, hiking, golfing, soccer, lots of sports. We are blessed! Thanks for your kind words! Hugs!

Nice job Laura. I will miss all the boat rides and fishing on Lake Michigan. Don't think I'll ever make it back up there again. Good part of my family has been up to see how beautiful it is . Ron's brother always kept his boat in a Marina somewhere near Grand Travis Bay.. I have such beautiful memories of it all.

If you ever want to come visit us - you would be welcome! We aren't right on the lake - but, only a couple of miles away. We have visited Grand Travis Bay and oh my, how beautiful it is! But, then again - Michigan is beautiful! Lots of hugs and prayers to you! Laura
