Great job ! I still do not have enough courage to try this. Looks quite difficult and it seems you need to sew quite perfectly in order that the squares match..
they look great

Thank you, I do this quilt as you go method, pu a 3 or 6 sided scrap on the middle of the batting and backing, and keep on adding scraps of fabric going around it, no need to see perfectly, rush you would try it.
that sounds so easy and looks so perfect! Love your colours, you made a good job

Very cheerful. What do you put in the middle to keep hands from getting burnt?

Thank you. I use an old towel which has become thinner or 2 pieces of tea towel. Recycling is my joy in quilting and crafting.:-))

Thank you, Kim. Well, my scraps are still up high. And now, I realized I have to make an all white quilt using the old sheets and fabrics from my MIL, for my daughter who is getting married in Sept !!! Hugs, Mary

The left one keeps catching my eye when I scroll. I love it !
Do you use a large piece on back or is it scrappy too?

Thank you , Toogie. No, I just use 1 piece of fabric, cut it 8 inches square and round it up to 7.5 in the end. I put an old towel on top, then a small piece of fabric in the middle and just keep on adding small pieces around it.
