I tried to make a dent in a large bin of old jeans. So I sewed a number of bags. Took a leaf out of Toogie's book and put on some labels, as an afterthought. Next time I'll do them as appliqués before I sew the lot together.

My help saw them today and was happy to take the one on picture1 home.

Pict 3 and 4 are front and back of a huge one.

And there's hardly a dent in the bin :)

Thank you for the offer. I have a lot, but there is not much colour variation, my children all went for the same sort of (jeans)blue :(

Love these bags. The large patchwork is my favorite. It looks so useful and sturdy.

The blocks are 4.5" square, which makes a roomy bag - and quite heavy by the time it is filled with shopping :)

Love your bags, great way to use old jeans. Great job on all of the bags. How long are the handles in the last picture? Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching :-)

The parts above the patchwork are 7" high and 2" wide.

Well done they look awesome. If one was thin enough, you could just not sew the bottom of the bag together and voila you can wear it as a tank top! Love Chris

You did a great job with the denim bags. They
will be gone before you know it. I can sympathize when you
about making a dent in your denim stash :(

They all look so good Martine! The first two are the style of bags I prefer but the patchwork is nice too. ***** 5 star job! I can't blame the help, I'd have to leave with one too!😉😂
