Need some ideas.. -long story short- after almost 20 years I'l be leaving my company and on 14th of oct will start somewhere else. No easy decision, but sometimes you need fresh air. Thanks to all who have supported me during this last year when I was feeling down.

Now.. I have a great team and leaving them behind will be hard. I still want to sew something for them, but to be honest can't spent hours on it. Also I have my team (8 people), but we belong to the bigger group of IT people who were also nice. In total 23. Should I feel obligated to create something for them too ?
What kind of gift could I sew ? I was thinking about key Fob's, but doesn't that looks a bit "little" or stupid ? I could sew a tower with design,.. but then I need lots of designs... and this will costs also,...
So some tips are welcome !
thanks Zoefzoef (Linda)

Linda, if you decide to make something for the whole group of 23 - I wouldn't hesitate to do a key fob (snap tab). I can do a bunch in one hooping (say 6x10 or 8x12). Also, a kitchen towel for your immediate group of 8 is possible or perhaps an Embroidery Christmas ornament. While I haven't seen a laptop or PC snap tab design - there are a lot of other possibilities! Let me know if I can help you brainstorm this in anyway! Hugs and best of luck in your new job! Laura

I agree with the Christmas ornament idea--easy and beautiful. I've done many on cork fabric and the people that I've given them to have been very pleased to receive them. You could do multiples in only a few hoopings. And they will think of you every time they see it!

Wow! That is a huge decision. I wish you well in your new work. Don't sweat how much time you have to give to your co-workers. I've seen how generous you have already been. Pour yourself into your new future!

First of all congratulations on your new job. It is always hard to leave a team. I remember when I retired after over 30 years with my company. It wasn’t leaving the work that was hard but leaving my staff of very dedicated people.
I think the key fobs sound great. They know that you are busy and will be grateful for anything you have gone to the trouble to make.
I wish you all the very best. Hope the family are well.

congratulations with the new job !!!
I would prefer the key fob, I love to give useful gifts. perhaps you can make a key fob with the first letter of their name.....
The other suggestion of a Christmas ornament is lovely too, But personally I would love to get a key fob or key cord.....Hugs )))

Thanks for you suggestions and tips. So I will stay at making Fob's.
i have checked my collection, I only have dog footprint, gingerbread, pig & koala face, sewing machine. Not enough to support whole group of people. Who can direct me to some fob's (like cat print, IT stuff fob, team topics,...other idea's)

These may be an idea. Truthfully it takes me more time to turn them then stitching them out. I bought zippers and clasp at Amazon. You can fill them with something special if your would like.

Linda I wish you all the best on your new adventure.
