I purchased this design last week and decided to make a tray for my sweet hubby. He has been having health problems lately and I wanted to make a little something for him. It is a Celtic knot tray - made with vinyl and Kam snaps. He really likes it. Thanks for taking a look!! Hugs to all, Laura

I meant to tell you - that I usually go over the white stabilizer that shows up in between the two pieces of vinyl (along the edges) with a fabric marker (blue in this case). Kinda makes it look like one piece.

I can see why he likes it. Looks so masculine. I noticed how close the the hoop it stitched did that worry you. I would feel so nervous about that.
I think this is the nicest thing I have seen in a while.

The stitching was close to the vinyl (but not the hoop). I was lucky that it stitched close but not over the vinyl. LOL, if the stitching had gone over the vinyl - I would have started over! Thank you, I am a little worried him - we will know more next week. Thank you again!!!

This one was done on a 6x10 inch hoop - there is one for the 5x7 hoop, which must be very small. But, the next one I make will be 8x12 - that is the largest hoop I have and I feel fortunate to have it! Thanks, Toogie!
A 5x7 wouldn't be worth fooling with in my humble opinion. By the time you snap up the edges you wouldn't be able to put anything inside. I made mine on a regular machine, except for the embroidery design in the center.
