Hottest October day in Alabama since they've been keeping records. 102 degrees. Whew! TIme to go visit some Cuties further north.

We have those hot days in the summer here but it is dry heat. Humidity added can make it even more miserable.

We set a record here too - hottest temperature in October since they've been keeping records - 88 degrees and MUGGY!, Doesn't sound that bad, except I'm way up north from you. We're to get frost come Friday night... crazy weather!

That's a huge adjustment from 88 to frost.

Maybe we should all make a pilgrimage to visit Carolyn up in Canada! Normally the heat does not bother me but by now it should have broken. So ready for some cooler temps. Hugs Nan

Hurrah! We had a bit of rain this afternoon that broke the heat at least for today. It had been 8 or 9 weeks without any rain.
