Just a quick update: Hubby came through the procedure just great. His heart does have some problem (Thank goodness his arteries are clear!) He will be referred to a specialist soon. He most likely will have to have surgery - but, we will cross that bridge when we get to it! Thank you - thank you for your prayers and kind words ... I am truly thankful for you all! Hugs, Laura
My Dear Husband goes in the hospital tomorrow for a cardiac catheterization. He suffers from a thickness to the walls of his heart. It is genetic and doesn't have anything to do with cholesterol or plaque. We are anxious to hear just how obstructing it is and hope for good news. Yikes! I'm sure this is stressful for you both. It sounds like they know he has an obstruction, or are they just checking it out? Try to keep positive and cheerful as I'm sure he's worried about you too.

The thickness of the wall is pressing on one of the valves and they want to see just how much. So it won't be a repair. We have been trying to be positive - I took a long bubble bath today to ease the stress. I couldn't talk him into one - lol. Thanks and Hugs to you!

Thanks for letting us know, know your time is "taken" right now. The heart cath is really not bad at all for him or for you, once it's OVER and everything is okay, no emergency surgery... I've been there.

The scariest is what they find during a cath. He had good and bad news. But, I'm going to try not to second guess what happens next. Thanks friend!!
