Hi Cuties! I found this on blueprint but if you belonged to Craftsy, it's now blueprint. It is a pattern for a free Carry All Bag to sew. It's regularly $6.95. For those of you that make bags, get it while the getting is good!

I tried to put a link but it won't go to it. Comes up different each time so here is what you do. It is a little trouble but not much :)
Google Craftsy
A page will come up and it will say Blueprint l Watch + Learn
Click on where it says Free Patterns
The Carry All Bag is the second free pattern

Thank you, Toogie……..you solved a mystery for me. I belong to Craftsy and wondered why I hadn't gotten anything from them in a long while and then I started getting the Bluprint emails and I just deleted them thinking it was something my hubs was getting...LOL! Will now pay attention to them...….

You know they have free machine embroidery designs as well? The embroidery category is mostly hand charts but every so many is a machine one.. This EmbroiderShoppe organza butterfly is especially nice https://shop.mybluprint.com/embroidery/patterns/lace-butterfly-1/220462 Haven’t downloaded machine embroidery from them since they became Blueprint but will checking to see what else there is new..

I love this bag, I've made 3 of them. I bought the pattern last yr, I think, when it was offered half price. Two for me, one for son overnighter.

Well your bag is like your name AWESOME! I am sure the other two are as well. This would probably make a good flight carry on too. What did you use inside yours to make it sturdy?

Thank you. I used heavy weight fusible fleece and a heavy fusible interfacing. Also, I put a heavy stiff cardboard in the bottom, but covered it with same as lining. The outer fabric of all three were deco fabrics, heavy canvas like. I added couple of extra pockets to the lining inside. Don't forget to put your label inside! It was not difficult to make, but I think 2 are enough for me, unless a fabric comes along that I can't live w/ o. I took my husband a change of clothes to the hosp in one..it was perfect size. Love mine!
