Hi Cuties, I’ve been busy getting hessian (Burlap) for some Christmas stockings for 2 of our grandsons and children of Amy’s friends. I’ve done 2 designs but only finished one stocking so far. I have 6 in total to do. Only have 4 to do now. I’ll make some tomorrow. Love Chris

This Elf design is by our very own Veronika here on Cute Embroidery. It's such a gorgeous design. I know Maya is going to love this stocking. Love Chris

Thanks Vicki, pretty easy to do, when your machine is working well! I had all sorts of trouble with bird's nests, so my Husqvarna machine is in being serviced. I am making the others on my Brother Quattro. Love Chris

So so cute. I love the look of the Burlap and of course the cute design. You did well stitching it out. Love the cording on the edge of the stocking.

Aha, you noticed Angie! The cording was a bit frustrating as there are little gold balls all throughout! A few hit my needle, so I had to stitch it verrrrrrry slow! Of course a mess in the sewing area with fibres all about too from the fabric. Love Chris

Thanks Carolyn, fun to make too. What with the Burlap and wool the sewing floor is covered in white and brown fluff! Love Chris

Thanks Barb, yes it's beautiful fur, but fibres all over the place!! Love Chris

Chris I once made a Santa costume and found it helpful to use a soft mask over my nose and mouth to stop the fibres making me sneeze.
The ones they wear in China in the city, I bought a box at Daiso for a few dollars.

looks fab, but I hate the fibre which always finishes up on my knee [is it why it's called Bur-lap] haha

That fantastic trim around the edges really finishes this off well! Cute designs and it has a lot of little details in it that are so interesting to see. Well done!

So cute! I see the elf has many many color changes. Will you be putting different designs on the others? Once again, great job!
