Hello Cuties, I am making men's gifts for the upcoming trip in less than 2 weeks. There are 13 men going, so I need 26 gifts, so they will have 2 gifts each. If anyone has any ideas, I'm trying to get these made asap.

I think there are 7 men who wear glasses, but I had to stop for today. I suppose they could use them for sunshades, as mine fit in.
I should have used WSS but used tear-a-way as instructions said. I have not so pretty edges. Showing both sides of the five I did make.
Have a nice night or day, wherever you may be, and let me know any ideas for something not too time consuming. I need to make about 30 gifts before Monday, if I can.-Toogie

Carolyn???
I might make some they would be quick but I've given to some before....I don't know who got what!

Toogie, she just assumed because it was posted in Projects that it was Carolyn! Think what percentage of the time she'd be right. Love your fabric for the glasses cases. Key fob to match? Maybe just a brown or leaves fabric with a last initial.

sorry, I submitted a comment here where it did not belong.

Betsey you are right about Carolyn getting so much done. I call my grandkids the wrong name sometimes so I can understand quite well. Was just joking by saying 'Carolyn??)' 😳Chris knows who I am.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Toogie that material is perfect for the mens eyeglass holder. I am always at loss with gifts for man. Does that tell you how much help I will be?

Now, now you're like me. It's not easy. Men don't seem to need all the accessories a woman does.-lol-I also made some infinity scarves for the ladies.

I have found that men like small zipper pouches that will fit in their pocket. Big enough that it will hold a couple of credit cards, drivers license, folded cash and some change. I have made the pouches with water resistant nylon for hunting and fishing license too. The same fabric could be used as the eye glasses case. That is great manly fabric!

Thanks Pam and could you show me what you made, the small zipper pouch for their pocket?

Toogie, I will post the most recent one made for my mom it is the same size and design as the one made for 3 men. They loved the size.
by sewpam 26 Oct 2019
Toogie, I measured the finished size it is 5 1/4 wide by 3 3/4 tall made in the 5x7 hoop.

HI Toogie, have you done any of the device cord wraps? Very quick and everyone I have given them to loves them. They are a free download from Embroidery Garden. I also took the original design and enlarged it 20% so made 2 different sizes of these. Walmart has some fabric that is similar to that tote bag fabric, don't know what it is called, but it is lighter weight than vinyl and makes up nicely. PM me and tomorrow I can send some pics as I am not home right now. Also Kreative Kiwi has some nice coasters for men-one is a motorcycle and I think another is a car. Hugs. Nan

Thanks Nan, I think I know the fabric you're speaking of. I have royal blue and I should have some sage green. I never thought to make the cord wraps with them though so I think I will make a few. I'm running low of snaps though so not sure what colors I have in them. I have the car and motorcycle mug rugs, too.

Hmmm, good suggestions from Cuties below...perhaps hand sanitizer holders for their computer case or backpack...especially good when traveling... Lots of masculine designs that could be used too.... Also, I have a Readers case that is finished with no raw edges and does not have a satin stitched border that is quick and easy to do... Happy to send it to you if you could use it.
