The roof of my JoAnne’s collapsed in a rain storm last year and it finally reopened In Dublin, California! I went to the soft opening this evening. The grand reopening will be for the next 3 days. The store had only been open for 3 hours by the time I went to check out. It was so fabulous, like a dream come true. New shopping carts, clean aisles, fabric neat and where they belonged. It will never be like that again of course so I’m really happy I was able to experience it. The only downside was that there were no remnants yet! I’m sure you will understand my excitement: )

To those who love shopping Jo-Ann, I offer my favorite tip. They used to offer a coupon for xx% off of one cut. I just asked the question one time, how big can the cut be and was told it could be the whole bolt. That's why I own a whole bolt of white kona cotton! Not sure if this was company policy or one store's interpretation.

Awesome. I can understand your excitement. Now hang on to your wallet. I pretty much stopped going, since the one I go to does not have enough personell. I had wanted some scissors but after waiting over 1/2 hours to find someone to unlock the item I gave up.

Hooray! My local JoAnne's closed many years ago, then a couple of year's later the next nearest one closed. If I want JoAnne's, I have to go to the Houston area and I hate the traffic. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

I feel for you. I had one 5 minutes away that closed. Now I go 15 minutes which isn't too bad but the other one was next to my grocery store and my drug store.
