I received a e-mail saying that pal pal had limited my account but it was a scam not from pay pal, has anyone else got this I did not answer them.

No but I have in the past. Pay pal are always interested in receiving emails that are from people trying to scam us as any I have had have been checked out by them. Over the past month I have received a number of emails which are scams saying that the Inland Revenue in the UK owe me money but when I check them out they are from a assortment of European countries and Japan. Thanks for alerting all of us to be vigilant

Yes, I get them frequently... I always ignore them. If I think there might be a problem, I contact PayPal directly by phone....

I got one and immediately went to paypal and sent them the email.
