For my grandson's high school graduation, I made him a twin size tshirt quilt for his college dorm. Loved doing it for him! Now I guess I've committed to 8 more for the rest of the gkids. LOL

A friend of my daughters saw it and asked me if I would make one for her 14 year old. BEFORE I asked any questions I said yes. Wrong thing to do!! I said it is a twin, right? No - a queen! You do want tshirts, right?
No - camo from dad's military uniforms! I had to "deconstruct" Army uniforms - I've never seen so many zippers, velcroed pockets, etc. Even the sashing was cut from his uniform dress shirts and the lining from his PE tshirts. And not a quilt, but a duvet. Half way through she decided she wanted both sides patchwork. This quilt has consumed me. I delivered it yesterday. She loved it, but I told her I would NEVER do another one. No one could pay me enough! "What, you won't do a pink one for my daughter?" NO! And no, she did not pay me nearly enough! I don't know how you quilting ladies do such beautiful work and so quickly. I admire your talent.
