Finally got to spend an afternoon with my closet Cutie friend and see her new machine a Brother V3. She has only had the machine for six months! We were able to have fun, check out designs and the new machine plus loads of chat. I now want a new machine.

The work below is a design that she has bought from https://swpea.com/ who are donating the monies raised from the sales to saving the wildlife in Australia who have been affected by the fires. Picture 1 is the cushion cover that she made following the success of the mug rug in Picture 2. Sadly the pictures don't do the work justice as the crushed velvet used for the koala body really was a excellent choice. She is planning on sewing the kangaroo next. As you can see she is really enjoying using her new machine. I discovered shortly before I left that she has forgotten her log in details to Cute. This will be sorted next time I visit which will be sooner than 6 months. Flowers and thanks for looking

This Koala is gorgeous Caroline. Give your friend a pat on the back from me. Love Chris.
P.S. Heather (owner of SweetPea Embroidery) has said that they have raised $11,148.5USD for Wildlife Victoria for the Kangaroo.
"ALL SALES from the Koala and Kangaroo on the website will be given to Wildlife Victoria ( https://www.wildlifevictoria.org.au/) to continue their important work with all our injured and orphaned wildlife."

Well done. Looks good your friend can also use a grey for the Koala as they vary a bit in colour from state to state.
