Color of threads and fabrics make all the different making the design look different. I love it, of course. My Ellisimo Gold still shredding thread no matter what I do. I guess it has broken my spirit and will have to trust to have it serviced. I have front off and side and see nothing in the world wrong. Any fabrics I stitch on and numerous types needles and still the problem exists. I have never had to have one serviced as I do that myself usually but this one has me beat.

Check the bobbin case for any burrs, especially if you have broken a needle...also check the needle plate to see if it has any nicks in it. These could cause shredding of your threads. If you find any, you can take a fine emery board and file them smooth, and if that doesn't work, you may need to replace either or both of them. Have you tried the other bobbin case that came with your machine?
