When someone asks for help on a embroidery question and it is given, it is polite to go back and check for answers. I have given advice and there has been no acknowledgement as to whether they have checked back or not. It would be nice to know if you were helpful.

Shirley thanks so much for this. As a moderator I regularly spend time answering questions and there is no reply, then you wonder if the answer has been seen or not.

Yes I know the feeling. Thanks for all the help you and the other moderators give on this site.

I think that is really important. There have been times when I have gone into good detail and never know if it was seen. I know I will try to make sure I go back and thank those who helped me.

OK. Did you get the serial number entered into your Embrilliance program?

Thanks Chris. Like I said I like to help if and when I can.

Alas, that happens quite often. Discouraging, isn't it.

Very. I like to help where I can but it would be good if it was acknowledged.

I am so glad you brought this up. So many times there is no response and one wonders if they had spend their time answering and researching for nothing. Very discouraging at times.

Yes it is very discouraging. Makes me feel like not helping but that is not my nature.
If it is important enough to ask for help then surely it is more important to see if you have been given help.

I agree, Shirley....it can be discouraging when you spend the time to research and help and there is no acknowledgement that they have even seen your efforts....

If someone takes the time to help, I sure want to thank them or let them know how much it helped me. Also to let them know I saw their post and appreciate them trying to help. I think itβs just good manners.
