JOSHUA IS HOME. He will have to spend another 2 weeks in Johannesburg to have the cast removed and then hopefully back to Dubai. Thank you again for all the good wishes.
My grandson Joshua is in Johannesburg. Tomorrow he is having yet another operation to take more off his leg. He has been in agony with his prosthesis as the bones in his lower leg have come away from the muscle. This will be his last chance. The next step will be amputation above the knee.<br /><br /><br /><br />
Please send him some kind thoughts - we could do with them right now.<br /><br />

Joshua is doing well. The op was nearly 3 hours long. I have spoken to him, sounds a bit groggy. Dr will check him the morning and if he is doing well he will be allowed home. Thank you al for your messages and kindness.

It is coming up for 07.00 on Monday morning. Joshua is already at the hospital with his mum. We have been told that he will be operated on at about 11.00. Because of the expense in Dubai he has come to Johannesburg. It is still an expense as he is a private patient. Hopefully he will only be in one night and hopefully he will not need to go into ICU.
Emma goes back to Dubai on 6th. March. Josh will stay on a few days as he has to wait for 2 weeks after the op.
