Today 1 March in Wales is St David's Day. Small children usually go to school wearing their Welsh outfits and many towns have a celebration march and events. The town where I live has weekend of event. Yesterday I went Welsh clog dancing, fun but not a hobby I am about to take up.
The picture is the card drawn by my elder grand daughter Gwen. As you can see there is the Welsh hat, apron and red in the skirt, she has also added the daffodil which is the flower of Wales and the leek which is also a Welsh symbol. Cymru is Wales.
