I occasionally do home checks for the rescues I support. Last month I did a home check near where I live. I have been invited to tea next week and my pekingese Keenu has been invited as well.
I have embroidered a blanket as a gift.

It warmed my heart to know that people care enough to do a follow up on rehomed rescues. To bring a blanket along with your visit is so very thoughtful! "Come over for tea" is an activity that used to be quite common where I grew up in the midwest, and it is good to know that this lovely invitation still exists and friendships are created over a simple cup of tea.
