Hi Cuties, we decided last year to go to the Blue Mountains Blues Roots music festival this weekend and stay up until next Wednesday. It’s very cold 13C hence I’m wearing my big cardigan I wore whilst we were in Canada.

Unfortunately it was cancelled 1 hour before we were leaving for the 3 hour drive down from Newcastle. So we decided to still come and support the township of Katoomba. We arrived Friday and as it was stunning weather we decided to drive to see the 3 Sisters (a mountain formation). Thankfully we saw them because yesterday (Saturday) it poured all day and they were covered in fog and cloud.
Today we went down there again and did a cable car ride across the two closest mountain points. Then we did a cog train ride down the steepest train ride in the world. It was AMAZINGLY SCARY! Kids were crying and some screamed. There was a lady behind me who was petrified. I loved it. We then had lunch and after went on to another cable car ride down into the Jamison valley below. It was stunningly beautiful.
As we are all aware the world is going through many upsets and we must all keep our faith. We will get through this. Love Chris

Love Chris

Love the Blue Mountains and went quite a few times while living in Sydney. I was also fortunate to stay at the Majestic Hotel as it was a conference centre for us once whilst I was serving in the Air Force.

Trev and I are going today or tomorrow. We want to see the beautiful Everglades gardens, but at the time of writing (8.00am) we have fog everywhere! Love Chris

I’m hoping Carolyn will view this post and notice my purple nail polish 😄😄

Thanks Tonya, it was great to get away as now it seems everything is going to change!
We have 3 holidays booked in the next few months but now we are going to have to wait and see what will eventuate due to plane interruptions, people losing jobs etc. places shutting down. Even our sacred football codes are shutting down. What a crazy world we live in at the moment. Love Chris
