Update: I just got a call from my husband's surgeon. He said the operation went well and my DH will spend the night in the intensive care unit.
I want to thank all of you who kept us in your prayers - insuring that God watched over the hospital staff and by doing so, managed to calm my fears as well! You are the best and I thank God for all of you!

Please, I'm asking if you would say a prayer for my husband who was just rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.
Because of Covid-19 is in my area, the hospital where he was taken is not allowing any people in other than workers, incoming patients, relatives of "end of life" patients and the parents of children in the pediatric ward. So, I'm left here, not knowing what is going on and I'm not sure I'll even be notified when the operation is over.
I know all this pales compared to those people who are infected and fighting the virus or are self quarantined waiting for results of Covid-19 testing, but if you will find time to offer up a little prayer, I would really appreciate it.

I will certainly pray for you both and continue to pray, for our medical people. They are so vulnerable without the right equipment and we all need them. What kind of shape would we all be in during this Covid-19 if they quit their jobs because of fear. We must not let fear control us, but also we must be sensible in these times.

I'm praying for your worry and not knowing and also for your sweetheart. This can be so stressful. Keep putting it in the Lord's hands. When my first husband had heart bypass surgery, I commended him to the Lord and leaned back to go to sleep against the waiting room wall. I knew he was going to need my full attention when he was finished and back in a room. When they woke me up to tell me surgery went fine, the lady beside me asked, almost screamed, how did you DO that?

I know you were relieved to hear he went through fine. I'm sure the ICU is just a precaution after whatever surgery he faced. Hopefully he won't have to be hospitalized long. Praying for a great recovery and peace for you. Try to rest, so you will be in good shape to help him, when he is discharged.
