This is another mask. The pattern is from itself is from CraftPassion. In the tutorial by a retired nurse shows an alternate way of making the mask-like how to add the nose piece. There have been a lot of discussion about putting in pocket and what other materials to add as a barrier. Vacuum bags are used in many of the tutorials but as the non woven barrier interfacing has been used. If you are making facemasks to donate for hospital use you might want to check with who you are donating to as to what type of ties/elastic to use. It seems elastic breaks down in the autoclave so they are requesting cloth ties. Some suggestions are ribbon or 1 in wide strips of a T-shirt. The ties also offer a better fit. The above tutorial shows how to use aluminum for the bridge of the nose but I noticed SmartNeedle.com has bridge of the nose inserts...no idea how long it takes to get them but there is a concern about a second wave of this virus in the fall of this year.
