Something tells me my sewing will be hampered for a bit. This gal (Coco) is 8 weeks old. I am over the moon to have a buddy in my house again. Her mom looks just like my former shepherd and her dad is, guess what, a Labrador retriever.

Stimmt. Das ganze ist etwas neues für mich da ich immer 2-3 Jahre alte Hunde angenommen hab. Wir kommen aber schon gut miteinander aus.

I think she will be great. The smarts of a German Shepherd and temperament of a Lab. She already figured ou how to use the door of her playpen.

I do feel blessed. Trying to get a dog under current circumstances is so difficult. Normally I rescue.

Yes she is a precious gift. We already have a lot of fun and learn together. This puppy stuff is totally new to me. All my previous dogs were rescues.

Cocoa sure is pretty! She looks black on my phone, is she or is she more a chocolate? My husband got me a black Pekingese when we married and her name was Black Beauty on her papers but we called her BB. My dad had a solid black stallion name Ace but he should have been named Midnight. He was full of spirit & beautiful!

Yes she is black. The Labrador genes came through. I called her Coco and you probably thought more of the chocolate powder.There is not a speck of her mother in her. We are bonding so much that I have to be careful not to trip over her.
