Hello my Cuties!

We all could use some humor to uplift us, so if you are game, go to You Tube. I cannot add a link because I just realized it's a no-no.
When you get to You Tube type in 'DIY face mask by Kay'. Kay Pruitt's love of posting DYI videos exceeds her actual sewing skill, in this comedic tutorial gone wrong.
I hope all of you are well. I am not taking this COVID 19 lightly, so don't misunderstand. I know the seriousness of it and have cried many a tear for those lost lives. However, we need to be uplifted to get through this sane in these insane times.
Love you all-stay home-stay well-stay alive-Toogie

What a hoot! My sister sent me to this video, saying the more masks you have sewn, the funnier it gets.

That was priceless! My poor hubby is looking at me like I have lost my mind. hehe I'm still laughing. This was even better than the one someone sent my husband It was a DIY mask made from a gallon milk bottle. And yes, that one was a spoof. Keep the laughs coming.

My husband looks that way at me sometimes and I tell him I wish he could enjoy simple fun things.

Good to have a bit of humor in these dark times , I have a very good friend that knows about as much sewing as that poor lady .

Some people just aren't interested in sewing or learning. However, if she is then maybe after this is over you can give her lessons. ...I like sewmom's post when it said, 'we went from hoarding to being prepared'. It's always a need to sew something, even a button on.

Not you Angie! I can't believe!!!

When I started my sister into piecing quilt tops, the first thing she did was slice the tip of her finger with the rotary cutter. I thought, how did she do that?...well, I see it can happen

Thank you for sharing! This was so funny, and even my husband laughed through the whole video when I showed it to him. When she brought out the rotary cutter, he said OH NO! Of course he knows after 20+ years of using my rotary cutter a while back, I cut through my finger and had to go in and have it sewn up.

Ouch! I had a fellow quilter in my sewing group knocked her cutter off the table, slicing the top of her foot. Had to get staples in top of her foot to hold together, until it healed.
