Good Sunday morning Cuties!
Some of you have wondered what I've been making. When all this Covid 19 started I didn't have the 'heart' to make anything. I knew I could work on something and even my friends here at home text, that it was a good thing I had my sewing.
They may not have understood how I felt. I thought if I make a quilt, it would always be a reminder of these dark times, in all our lives.
However, I remembered these verses of scripture and family I had leftover from our 50th wedding anniversary quilt over 2 years ago.
Then I was moved to make this quilt. It will always remind me that God has been with us through this. He is with us during this time and will still be with us when its over. I ask Him everyday for protection around my family and thank Him every night for everything He has provided for the day.
So I changed my mind. Instead of a quilt being a horrible reminder of this time every time I see it, it can be a comforting reminder of the love and grace from my Father.
May you all have a blessed day today. -Love Toogie
ps. my daughter remarked how some verses look crooked. Some chapter and verse are also cut off. I told her it's a shame when you pay for fabric and it runs at a slant on the bolt. To cut each straight, so you don't lose a piece of that saying, you lose the sayings next to it because you've had to cut into those.....They are squared up, but then they have this appearance.....
You will be covered by his Word! Sleep tight. :o)
