Today I will think of my love, Blackie. We would have been married for 38 years. My heart still aches for him, but I know he is in a better place. I cherish the many wonderful memories we had. Even though the loss is great, I try not to mourn what I have lost, but rejoice in what we had. Blackie will forever remain in my heart.

Update: This is a memory a friend had of us.
Will be praying for you today, while you think of all the wonderful memories you shared with Blackie. I’ll give you one, I remember when we were opening Grandmas Kitchen, Blackie would come there at lunchtime and bring you this wonderful lunch from home and the two of you would sit there like high school kids. He looked at you like it was his first date. ❤️

Thank you. Yes it is an anniversary but living it differently now. Treat was I fixed one off his favorite meals. Tasted a little different but OK.
