I had the most amazing experience. I was near our local hospital and the Thunderbirds flew over in formation in honor of the care givers! Now I know how they got their name. I know that they fly every day to practice normally, but to do a fly over a hospital in honor of the people who do so much for us made me a little teary. People came out of the building to see them.

Having lived in San Francisco I experience the Blue Angels a few times. It is an amazing experience. A wonderful way to honor the care givers.

They were here in Austin last week one day. I think they are going to many cities to honor caregivers. Sure helps with morale as well as patriotism. Hugs. Nan

What a wonderful tribute for everyone in the area to see the Thunderbirds and/or the Blue Angels. It is a thrill. I'm glad you got to experience the show. We call the sound of the jets, the sound of freedom. I've never tired of that thunder.
